General Gilbert's California Fried Chicken with Pan Gravy

5 tablespoons seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay

Vegetable oil, for frying

For the pan gravy:
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups warm milk
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
