Matthew Evans Australian chef and host Matthew Evans has rich history in the culinary industry. After becoming a trained chef, he was a restaurant reviewer, working more than five years and eating 2,000 restaurant meals as the chief reviewer for The Sydney Morning Herald. His final culinary calling came when he realised his desire to obtain the best produce and made the move from city life to a small patch of land in Tasmania, where raises animals and grows his own produce. He believes that everyone should be directly connected to their food and support local farmers and goods.
